Healthcare Marketing Plans that Work(David Marlowe, Strategic Healthcare Marketing)
The core of any viable marketing function is the organizational Marketing Plan.  This Plan ideally connects the factors driving marketing opportunities and challenges to marketing strategies and tactics to the effective use of limited marketing resources (staff and budget) to the tracking of marketing impact (metrics).  This workshop is based on the book written by David Marlowe and published in 2018 by the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development of the American Hospital Association.

Healthcare organizations across the country are struggling with concept of population health.  They are unsure how to define population health, how to activate it, who should manage the process and how to fund initiatives. But by looking at population health through a marketing lens, it is easy to see that marketing and business objectives can be perfectly aligned with health improvement goals.  In this workshop, Susan shares how to define and understand population health and how to deploy basic behavior change strategies to support marketing goals.
