At least 2-4 years of proven communications or marketing experience, including solid writing, story development and social media expertise. Portfolio of stories and/or social media campaigns required.

Job Description:

Daily management and monitoring of Monarch’s social media presence including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and any new, emerging channels; social post scheduling through a management dashboard such as Hootsuite.

Development of content for use across Monarch communication channels, including social media, website, intranet, and print publications, including developing story leads, interviewing subjects, writing for various platforms, monitoring content performance and engagement.

Development and posting of content to MyMonarch (intranet) and MonarchNC.org (website).

Production of collateral content, including photographs, graphic images and banners, videos and other materials for social, website and intranet to support reader and user engagement. Manage daily, weekly, monthly and annual production schedules for social media and content development, adhering to departmental timelines for deliverables.

Manage development of annual social media strategy, including goals and objectives for improvement and growth.

Strategic planning and implementation of email marketing campaigns with emphasis on compelling content and audience segmentation.

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, Spark), Canva, Camtasia, and other design and video editing programs.

Support development of letters, brochures, printed materials, speeches/presentations, and other marketing efforts through content contribution and proofing.

Educate internal partners about traditional and digital marketing principles and best practices and serve as a resource for questions about marketing requests and communications materials.

Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required. Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements.

Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas.

Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations.

Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Travel and driving may be required.

Job Description:

Maintain external and internal websites, using knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, WordPress and other CMS and web technologies. Manage design and redesign processes as deemed necessary.

Possess a working knowledge of SharePoint administration and SharePoint designer experience, or transferrable skills to enable learning SharePoint intranet platform.

Manage Monarch’s digital marketing analytics review and reporting (traffic, conversions, bandwidth, etc.), using Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Constant Contact email marketing system, Hootsuite, and other relevant measurement dashboards to gather, analyze and present data.

Develop and execute SEO, search engine marketing (SEM), conversion rate optimization (CRO), and proven pay-per-click (PPC) strategies to increase traffic, brand awareness and consumer engagement.

Manage Google location listings, reporting content and verification process(es). Write and edit accurate listing information and update at appropriate intervals.

Conducts quarterly digital audits and develops monthly website, intranet, and social media analytics reports for leadership team. Develop digital marketing campaigns to support organizational goals and objectives.

Ensure website security by managing permissions, firewalls and login pages.

Manage user interfaces to ensure maximum user engagement and experience.

Develop and manage related projects adhering closely to deadlines and budgets.

Stay abreast of new web technologies, social networking platforms and resources, digital marketing trends and implement as appropriate.
