Welcome to CHPRMS, the Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations & Marketing Society
For 50 years, CHPRMS has provided exceptional educational and networking opportunities for highly skilled professionals in various disciplines, including healthcare marketing, advertising, public relations, digital engagement, communications, fundraising, physician relations, and community relations.
Join us for a timely Lunch & Learn
Cybersecurity incidents are no longer a matter of if — they're a matter of when. And when one hits your organization, how you communicate can be just as critical as your technical response. Join CHPRMS on Wednesday, March 18 at noon for a virtual Lunch & Learn on Effective Communications Response During a Cybersecurity Crisis.
Jamie Singer of FTI Consulting and Will Roberts of Ardent Health will draw from their firsthand experience navigating high-stakes data breaches to share practical strategies for preparing before an incident, responding in real time, and rebuilding trust afterward. This session is built for healthcare communicators and leaders who want to be ready before the crisis arrives.
The virtual event is Wednesday, March 18, 12 - 1 pm.
Save the date: 2026 CHPRMS conference set for Nov. 11-13 in Charleston
A special message from CHPRMS President Andy Lyons
Please save the date for the 53rd Annual CHPRMS Conference, set for Nov. 11–13, 2026, in Charleston, South Carolina, and block this time on your calendars now to join us for three days of learning, connection and collaboration.
I’m excited to share that we have already aligned on a conference theme that reflects both the moment our industry is in and what makes CHPRMS special:
Connected by Purpose
As healthcare continues to navigate rapid change, this theme reflects the strength of our CHPRMS community.
Congratulations to our award winners!
The Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society presented hospitals and health care organizations throughout the Carolinas with awards for marketing excellence during the association’s annual conference Nov. 19-21 at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina.
Held under the theme Rise Above, this year’s conference also honored the remarkable resilience of Western North Carolina one year after the devastating storms that impacted the region.
With inspiring stories of resilience, compelling videos and innovative digital media content, more than 35 organizations earned Wallie and Golden Tusk Awards for outstanding marketing, public relations and communications.
Employees are often the most trusted voice for your organization.
Join us April 22 for our next CHPRMS Lunch & Learn with Dan Dunlop of Jennings to explore how to turn employees and leaders into powerful brand advocates.
In this 60-minute session, Dan will cover how to define your core brand story, align your team around a shared message, and prepare staff and leaders to represent your organization with clarity and pride.
The virtual event is Wednesday, April 22, 12 - 1 pm.
Many Thanks to Our 2025 Conference Sponsors
“The conference is awesome, but it’s also these Lunch & Learns. It’s making that LinkedIn connection... We’re all in the same boat. We have the same mission in mind, which is representing patients and showcasing caregivers. So it’s so important to have likeminded people doing the same roles that you can reach out to. That networking and camraderie is gold.”
